Custom Crafted




The following hourglasses ( sand timers) are custom made by myself. (Glass is imported.) Various woods will be used as availability dictates. If you would like to choose your favorite type of wood, just let me know and I will do my best to locate and handcraft to your specifications. Times can be adjusted to suit your needs. Sand is available in several colors and on custom orders only. The sand or Ballotini (tiny glass shot) colors are, blue, mauve, green, yellow, pink, red, orange, black and white. Unless otherwise stated white will be used. For those of you who keep a 50 minute hour I can adjust time accordingly. For an additional $25.00 I can add what you want in place of sand or sand you may have and want put in a glass. I have done sand from all over the world. Urns are available too. A custom glass may have to be made but just about anything is possible. Engraving can be done as well. Most all of the custom glasses came be sent in kit form to add sand yourself. 	Online orders are done through Pay Pal. If you have a problem ordering from my site give me a call and I can help you. Since the options for the custom glasses are so many ( wood type, sand color, run time, inlay etc.) I will need to be sure all the information is correct. If an option is not listed as yet please feel free to call and place your order. The larger and unique glasses will still need to be phoned in as shipping cost vary on those. There should be a place to send me a note when you are checking out your order. Please use that area to specify you inlay choice’s and wood type as well as sand color and runtime for your custom glass.


	First up are the basic walnut framed glasses offered below. Starting left is a 5” size. the 3 bulb at 7”, the 12”, the 9” (the smallest I can do one hour in) and a 7”. For an extra $20.00 I can do them in black with the straight spinals .

Pictured here to the left and right are two examples of my most popular size 12.5”. Item #THC31260. Both have 60 min. run times with natural sand. The hourglass to the left is made of Bolivian Rosewood and the one on the right is made of Chakte Coc. If you look close at the one to the right you can see it has an inlay inset into the center of the top. Inlays are an extra charge and details can be found on the inlay pages or as always feel free to call and we can discuss details. They both have inlay banding around each end as well. The one to the left has inlay banding #377. Choose your inlay after viewing the numerous options on the Inlay page 1 or Inlay page 2. Inlays are an extra charge and details can be found on the inlay pages.

Pictured left are two examples of my 9 inch glasses. Left is made of bloodwood right is coco bolo. Inlay banding can be applied as with the 12” models above. The glass on the right has hand spiraled spindals. Not machined. Spiraling is an extra charge and can be done on all custom glasses from the 9 inch up to the 25 inch. You will have to call for pricing on spiraled spindals. Otherwise spindals will come as pictured on the model to the left.

Pictured left is a four-glass timer made using the 9” size glasses. Over all size is 15” x 9.5” x 4.5”. Made of Bolivian Rosewood, run times are 15 min., 30 min., 45 min. and 60 min. Sand colors are blue, mauve, orange and yellow but can of course can be made with your choice of wood type and sand colors. Also made with 12” glass. Be sure to specify sand colors and wood type at check out.

	Newest to my hand crafted line up is pictured at left is item # THCWM9. As you can see it is wall mounted. Made of Canary wood. With a run time of 60 minutes using the 9” glass. Also made using the 12” glass is Item # THCWM12. More designs to be pictured soon. Size of piece pictured is 15” x 4” x 5”.
