This page is dedicated to one of my favorite designs. I came up with this idea 8 years ago and recently decided to take it a step further. I am now offering several new designs using this idea. More to come.

This piece was made by the very hand holding it. The hand is my hand. I molded it holding the glass. The glass is free of the hand stand. Just turn the glass part over to time one hour. Overall size of this piece is 14" x 8". They are signed, dated and numbered. Other sand colors are available and run times are adjustable from 30 to 60 minutes. Please indicate you choice of color and runtime when placing your order. Color choices are white, green, orange, blue, purple, yellow and tan (natural sand).Unless otherwise indicated sand color will be tan and time will be 60 minutes.

 This photo shows on of the styles using both of my hands. The frame is made of mahogany with rose wood inlay. The hands are finished in antique brass. Hands can be finished in antique copper as well. You can choose the type of wood, sand color and runtime. Be sure to let me know and I will do it.

This one is done using my 7 year olds hand. The frame is made of cherry wood. Over all size is 15” x 6” square. Sand color and run time is your choice.
