 Inlays pictured on this page can be placed into the center of each end of your custom hourglass frame. (The top and bottom.) They add a very nice finishing touch. I can also add a brass plate in the center of each end that can be engraved with what ever you want.  ( Company logos, birthday messages etc.)  You can mix or match as you desire. Clicking the add to cart button will add only one of each item. If you want inlays on the top and the bottom you will need to click the add to cart button twice.

  • B-Septarian- Brazil. Grey/Brown with yellow crystalline areas.
  • C-Blue Lace Agate-Brazil. Light blue with white banding.
  • D - Leopard Jasper- Africa. Grayish background with patches of olive, red, pink, ochre, orange, brown and black.
  • E- Poppy Jasper- California. Varying patterns and shades of red, brown, beige, black and gray.
  • F- Snowflake Obsidian- Utah. Black with grayish white inclusions which resemble snowflakes.
  • G- Paesina- Italy. Italian Landscape Stone Picture-like designs in yellow to dark brown colors.
  • H- Malachite- Africa. Vivid green-swirled color banding.
  • I- Desert Jasper- Africa. Varying brown earth tones with landscape scenic patterns.
  • J- Crazy Lace Agate- Mexico. Crazy patterns of blue, gray and white, occasionally with brown, gold or red tones.
  • K- Picasso Marble- Utah. Gray or brownish tones with abstract treelike patterns.

    Hand Painted Lacquer Inserts

    Hand painted in Russian villages where original lacquered pins and dolls have been produced for centuries, these unique floral designs make an attractive insert. Inserts are approximately 2” in diameter with designs painted on a dark background with an intricate gold border. While the patterns are similar, no two are exactly alike.     Cloisonné

    Cloisonné combines historical designs and craftmanship to produce high quality, colorfully accented pieces. Powered glass is fused to solid brass castings, resulting in brilliance and color seldom found in other art forms. Approximately 3” in diameter. Pictured at right butterfly cloisonné installed in Bolivian Rosewood.
