Pictured at left is my hourglass kit that can be filled with sand you have collected in your travels to those special places. At right is an example of the assembled piece. The wooden parts are handcrafted and finished by me. Kit includes everything pictured. Not all sands will work but generally what goes through the sieve works. The brass disc included is for engraving and one of the end pieces has been milled to accept the disc after it  has been personalized. You can order one with no disc if you like. You will need to supply glue and of course sand. The over all size of the finished piece is 12" tall and 6.25" in diameter. Instructions are included. Available in finished or unfinish wood. Also available is just the glass and sieve for those that would like to make there own frame.
